I heard many young performers on the recent Canadian tour, but one that particularly stood out was a 5 year old student, Catherine He, who gave a very assured performance of The Young Rider (from Connections Level 4) She was given the special prize for my favourite performer in Toronto– a copy of Riffs and Grooves, my most recent publication.Catherine’s teacher, Alexandra Weiss,was one of the excellent group of Toronto teachers who took part in the Ontario Spring Tour 2009.
